About the Event

It’s the recipe for a spectacular evening: Start with eight world-renowned chefs. Add local, fresh ingredients from the Napa Valley’s amazing bounty. Stir in a good cause. The results? A once-in-a-lifetime, four-course dinner crafted by the world’s most creative culinary minds. Set in the understated elegance of the Silverado Resort and Spa, this event honors celebrated chef, culinary innovator and Co-Founder/Culinary Director of the Conservatory for American Food Studies at Greystone, Larry Forgione.

The evening starts off with the home team: hors d’oeurves prepared by Chef Jeffrey Jake, Silverado Resort’s own executive chef. Chef Charlie Palmer, the master of progressive American cuisine, will present the first course. Next up, critically-acclaimed and award-winning Bottega Napa Valley chef, Michael Chiarello, dazzles with the second course. Then come the brothers Forgione – Iron Chef Marc, Bryan, and Sean — to pay homage to their father’s cooking legacy with an inspiring third course. The decadent evening closes with dessert from James Beard award-winning pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini. Don’t miss this tour de force of American dining.
