As Head Sommelier, Dennis Kelly leads The French Laundry wine program at Chef Thomas Keller’s Michelin ‘three-star’ restaurant in Yountville, California. After joining The French Laundry in 2005, Dennis enjoyed three years as a French Laundry Captain before taking lead of the wine program in 2008. He has been featured in Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator magazines, and was voted “2010 Best New Sommelier” by Wine & Spirits. He has written features for Decanting Napa Valley Guides and Decanting Napa Valley – The Cookbook. The French Laundry wine list has been awarded the Wine Spectator “Grand Award” each year under his leadership. Dennis became one of 190 people in the world to earn the Master Sommelier Certificate in 2012.
