Growing up on the east end of Long Island in New York, Kerrin was first introduced to wine from witnessing the evolution of surrounding sod fields and potato farms to vineyards. While studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kerrin has elevated the business and her reputation by working at the esteemed Crook’s Corner and Anotherthyme in Durham, North Carolina. Through her experiences with working in the restaurant world, Kerrin realized her true passion was the world of great food & wine.
Today, as Wine Director for Dean & Deluca, Kerrin concentrates her efforts on product selection for the company both domestically and internationally and has become an integral member of the most established and up-and-coming star vintner community. Her palate rivals some of the most esteemed wine critics for California wine and has earned her access to the best of the new introductions in the California wine world. Since 2007, Kerrin has been a judge on the wine panel for the Food & Wine Magazine’s American Wine Awards, San Francisco Chronicle and recently moderated the seminar at West of West Wine Festival with New York Times Wine Critic Eric Asimov.
